Terms & Conditions


  1. Used turbo & VTEC engine, transmission & their parts: 30 Days.
  2. Used non-turbo or non-VTEC engine, transmission and their parts: 90 Days.
  3. Rotary engine and transmission, supercharge engine and transmission, any ECU, used body parts, used tires and rims: No Warranty SOLD AS IS.
  4. Aftermarket parts: limited lifetime warranty on all aftermarket replacement parts such as hoods, bumpers, fenders and other automotive aftermarket replacement parts. New distributors & radiators come with one year warranty Exchange only, Catalytic Converter final sale.


  1. All internal engine parts including: Pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, timing chain and timing gears, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, guides, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, and shafts. The engine block, cylinder walls and cylinder head are also warranted to be free of cracks or distortion.
  2. Head gaskets are warranted for 30 days only, irrespective of the application as stated in Section (A).
  3. JDM Quality Auto Parts reserves the right to repair with rebuilt or serviceable used parts, or exchange the engine at its own discretion and determination.


  1. Flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, water pump, timing belt,  tensioner, crank pulley, seals, thermostat, belts, rotors, hoses, oil pan, sensors, used distributor, wiring harness, torque converter, ECU, used drive shafts, engine mounts, half shaft, lubricants, filters, coolants, emission control devices, spark plugs, tune-up parts.
  2. The cost of labor required to remove and install a repaired or exchanged engine/parts to the vehicle.
  3. Any damage caused by abuse, neglect, accident or natural perils.
  4. Loss caused by the engine/parts being improperly installed.
  5. Shipping & handling, border fees and all other admonition costs.
  6. Loss caused by overheating. The warranty does not cover oil leaks, blown head gasket or any other engine damage due to over heating caused by poor water circulation, clogged radiator, stuck thermostat or a faulty water pump.
  7. Decrease in performance of any covered part due to normal wear and tear (unless actual breakdown occurs), having regard to inherent manufacturing faults in some engine/parts models.
  8. Loss caused by any modification or use of the engine/parts for which it was not originally designed.
  9. The engine if it is used for competitive driving or racing.
  10. Loss caused by the failure of a part or parts of the engine that are not covered by this limited warranty.
  11. Deterioration or pre-ignition damage.
  12. Repairs performed without prior authorization from JDM Quality Auto Parts.
  13. Loss caused by defective timing belt.
  14. Loss caused by modification or forced induction (NOS, turbo supercharged) for which the engine was not designed.


  1. Must be installed, maintained, or adjusted  by a certified mechanic.
  2. Improper installation.
  3. Failure to set ignition to specification as recommended by manufacturer.
  4. Change the first oil installation after 500 miles.
  5. Re-torque cylinder head bolts to manufacturer’s specification.
  6. Check cooling system and service if rusted or contaminated with oil and replace coolant.
  7. Must check the timing belt, oil filter, water pump and spark plugs.
  8. Gauge the oil after installation and gauge it again after 3 days. Make sure both gauges are in the same level.


  1. Deposit is not refundable.
  2. Order can not be cancelled if it has been shipped.
  3. 5% cancellation fee will apply to all unshipped orders.
  4. Repairs or exchanges will not extend this limited warranty beyond the described term on this form (section A).
  5. JDM Engines & transmissions are used and imported from Japan and they are not brand new. There may be some broken parts that made of fragile plastic, metal or rubber and could be bent or broken during shipping. These parts can be replaced with the parts from your original engine or bought from a local used auto parts store and they are not covered by the warranty nor included in the price, although they do come with the order.
  6. For a limited number of specific make and model they might not be 100% compatible with your car engine & transmission, therefore you have to replace some parts like intake, sensors, turbo and etc. from your old engine. This doesn’t apply to all make and models. Ask your mechanic for more info.
  7. Images in all our website and eBay listings are not the actual pictures of the product and they used as a sample only.
  8. This limited warranty is in lieu of any and all other expressed warranties of  JDM Quality Auto Parts. Any warranty implied is limited to the duration of this limited warranty. JDM Quality Auto Parts does not assume or authorize any person to assume on its behalf any other obligation of liability.
  9. JDM Quality Auto Parts will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from loss of use, loss of time, rent a car, lose of job, inconvenience, or commercial loss, or any other consequential damage or lose.


  1. Used JDM engines, transmission and parts must be return within 10 days from receiving date.
  2. 25% restocking fee applies for all returns. Shipping and Handling both ways are not refundable. All charges must be prepaid by a bank deposit.
  3. Returns must include original items undamaged, unpainted all original paper and packaging and must be in re-saleable condition.
  4. Aftermarket parts must be return within  90 days from the sticker date printed on the part to return and you can return up to 10% of your total monthly purchases without any restocking fee. Returns more than 10% monthly allowance will face 20% restocking charges and that will be automatically applied to your monthly statement. Return parts without sticker date and beyond 90 days time frame will not be accepted. All returns will be posted to your account as a store credit within the next business day.
  5. No replacement will be sent until our staff have inspected and verified the returned. All missing parts will be charged to the customer. If we found the return item is not ours, we will simply send the item back at your own cost.
  6. Returns without RMA will not be accepted please file a claim to get RMA.
